DIAPERS!!!

Today I wanted to complain about how many times I have to change Jacob's diaper throughout the day then I got a little flashback and I went back to our NICU days. I thought about the first time I got to change his diaper, how scared I was because he had a lot of wires around him plus he was so tiny around 2 pounds, I then said to myself I would never complain about changing his diaper because it was a blessing to be able to. In the NICU he  retained a lot of fluid, he couldn't pee by himself so he was always on diuretics and we all know that is never too good for babies to be on it for long. He was also getting a suppository once per day, sometimes more. It would hurt me to see him in so much pain because almost in the end of our NICU stay they said no more suppositories, he would have to learn how to go on his own. Eventually, he got the hang of the two and now he just won't stop =) OH how far we've come since those days and I wouldn't want to go back so I won't complain because I'll rather change his diaper then give him a suppository any day!
